Alan Paine is a clothing brand celebrated for the quality of workmanship and the practicality of their designs, which have become a classic part of modern country attire. The brand launched its collection of country wear in 2009 featuring stylish tweeds, performance waterproofs, versatile fleeces, quilts, knitwear and accessories. The brand itself was first established in the historic market town of Godalming in Surrey, England in 1907 with its wool and knitting industries an important source of income in the area over the course of a number of centuries. One of Alan Paine’s most famous unofficial patrons, the Prince of Wales (who was later to become Edward VIII) ordered his own personalised sweaters that were finished in his regimental colours. Since then, Alan Paine has become a staple of practical, superior quality outerwear across the farming, shooting and country sets.
